Slot said, “For the second time in a row, he was not happy with the work effort of Darwin Núñez.
“I can’t accept if a player does not give everything. That is clear. I can accept -once, but twice was a little too much. That’s why I addressed it.”
Núñez has certainly had a mixed spell in Anfield, and these public criticisms of his manager may not be too well for his long -term future in the club.
Can Darwin Nunez win by the Arne slot?

Núñez seemed a very exciting talent during his time to the old Benfica of the club, but did not go to LFC and it seems a long way to him now.
Núñez will have to mainly improve his performances between now and the end of the season if he wants to return to the slot.
The previous manager, Jurgen Klopp, seemed a bit more willing to give Nunez time and show -Patience, but Slot has established very high standards in his reign of Liverpool.
It will be interesting to see if the 25 -year -old can bounce back from here or if it is now the beginning of the end for time at Merseyside.
