The midfielder played a key role in both goals and will be delighted with his performance today. It remains to be seen if he can build on it and maintain a regular starting spot in the coming months.
Elliott was a key player in the team under previous manager Jurgen Klopp. He is highly valued at the club and has a great future ahead of him. Regular football will help him improve even further and fulfill his enormous potential. His versatility could make him an asset for Slot and Liverpool in the future. He is able to slot into both wide areas and in the attacking midfield role.
