Liverpool Legends assumes the challenge of power

Few players played a ball as ex -duo de Liverpool, Steven Gerrad and John Arne Riise, Gerd with his right right foot, Riise with the cannon of a left.

Both are remembered for iconic goals: the rocket stopped from Gerd in the FA Final of the 2006 FA Cup and Riise’s free lack of Manchester United in 2001.

But after years of debate about who had the hardest shot, the two legends of the Reds finally tested it, and Riise came out on top.

The contest took place the day before the Nexon icons Legends coincide with the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The two players’ sets went to head in a series of challenges, including one that he saw in Gerrad and Riise exploding balls on a specially built support with stacked sheets designed to test the gross power.

Riise’s strike showed the strongest, falling all over the obstacle and attracting the southern people ‘chops. Although still powerful, the effort of Gerrad only made it part.

The moment it caused great joy and laughter, both the players and the fans. Riise then shared the pictures on Instagram with the subtitle: “The memories made today. The welcome of the fans in Korea is a crazy!” Gerd responded in a good mood, leaving a simple emoji of laughter.

As for the exhibition game itself, Riise again made the last laugh. His team of legendary defenders defeated the team of Greek attackers 2-1, thanks to the late goals of Maicon and Jooho Park.
