Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign Brazilian midfielder Ederson from Atalanta, as per a report by Teamtalk. The Premier League giants are looking to bolster their midfield options ahead of the new season, with Ederson emerging as a key target.
According to sources, Liverpool have initiated contact with Atalanta regarding a potential transfer, joining the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle United, and FC Barcelona in pursuit of the talented midfielder. Ederson, 25, has been a standout performer for Atalanta, playing a crucial role in their Europa League-winning campaign last season.
Despite his contract running until 2027, reports suggest that Ederson is unwilling to renew his deal, prompting Atalanta to consider selling him this summer to maximize their profit.
