Mohamed Salah is having the season of his life at Liverpool after guiding the Reds to the top of the Premier League table.
The Egyptian striker has scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 14 Premier League games this season.
The 32-year-old has shown no signs of stopping anytime soon and is easily one of the best players in the world given his current form.
However, his long-term future at Anfield is still uncertain following problems with his contract at the club.
Salah has yet to sign a new contract at Liverpool and after entering the final year of his deal at the club, could leave at the end of the season as a free agent.
talkSPORT pundits Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara have named a Premier League striker who could be Salah’s replacement at Anfield.
Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, who has scored nine goals in 15 Premier League games this season, has been tipped to replace Salah at Anfield if the Egyptian leaves the Premier League giants.
Cundy has claimed that Mbuemo is like a “mini Salah” and would be an ideal signing for Arne Slot’s side.
“I think when you look at what can happen at Liverpool with Salah, I’m looking at Mbeumo and what he’s capable of.” Cundy told talkSPORT, as reported by TBR Football.

“It’s a little Salah on that right side, (cutting) left foot.
“He’s got years (he stays at the top level). He’s got years.”
“I’d rather have Wissa and Mbeumo in my team (than anyone at Newcastle)” added O’Hara.
“They are amazing.
“If (Brentford’s) exit from Europe comes at the end of the season, Mbeumo and Wissa will be the best properties.”
Does Mohamed Salah have a future at Liverpool?
It is not yet known what the future holds for Salah and whether he will stay at the club or leave for a new chapter in his career.
The striker has achieved all he can with the Premier League giants, although winning the league again would be his dream.
Salah’s form and quality this season has shown that the Reds will struggle to sign a player of his caliber in the market and even if they do find someone, it will cost them a lot of money.
Liverpool are better off making sure they offer Salah a massive new contract and keep him at the club rather than allowing him to leave and rebuild the squad.
Leroy Sané of Bayern Munich has also been linked with a move to Anfield to replace Salah.
