David Ornstein has been discussing the contractual situations of Liverpool Trio Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
It is the case that the Reds face the worrying situation by which the three of Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold could let themselves be left in the free transfers at the end of this season.
Interpreting -with fans in a Q&A session Athletic Today, Ornstein was asked about any trio update and admitted that there is a widely positive sensation inside the club about maintaining Salah and Van Dijk.
Acknowledged, however, that Alexander-Arnold’s situation is less secureSince he is younger and has the Real Madrid who pursues him.

Discussing his latest understanding of the situation: “The conversations continue and there has been time optimism around Anfield in terms of Salah and Van Dijk.
“ I am not aware of the agreements, but the two players seem to be eager to stay and are playing out of the skin, in addition, so we know that Liverpool absolutely wants to keep the two. As Alexander -Arnold do, but we all know that their situation is different: he is younger and Real Madrid has at the door.
“The consensus around the industry is that Salah and Van Dijk will be renewed, while Alexander-Arnold maybe will go. But it does not seem like a stone yet.”
It will probably still happen some time before we know for sure what will happen, but Ornstein is usually one of the most reliable transfer journalists in the industry and seems to send a fairly strong suggestion on how it will occur.
Things can change, of course, but if Salah and Van Dijk are left, with Alexander-Arnold marching to Real Madrid, it will probably not be such a great surprise.
