The four clubs left in this season’s Carabao Cup already know who they will have to beat over two legs to reach the final at Wembley Stadium.
Arsenal booked their place in the quarter-finals with a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals, backed by a surprise hat-trick from Gabriel Jesus.
Liverpool had an equally tight win over Southampton in their tie, and ran out 2-1 winners at St Mary’s, while Newcastle United were more comfortable in a 3-1 win against Brentford.
Tottenham Hotspur was the last team to do so with a 4-3 victory at Manchester United.
The first leg will be played in the week commencing 6 January 2025, and the second leg will be played 28 days later in the week commencing 3 February 2025. The team that comes out first in each eliminatory will be the first at home.
The final is scheduled for March 16, 2025 and will be the first major trophy of the season.
