Liverpool and Man United are chasing Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson

Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign Fulham defender Antonee Robinson GiveMeSport.

The two clubs will join Chelsea as they target a move for the left-back who has impressed England’s biggest clubs with his performances.

Man United are ready to fast-track plans to sign the Fulham defender, according to the report.

The Red Devils have splashed the cash with new signings this summer and have greatly strengthened their squad.

That hasn’t translated into their form this season, however, with Erik ten Hag’s side sitting in 12th place at the moment following their latest defeat against Tottenham.

The Fulham left-back is on a long-term deal at the club and that puts the Cottagers in a strong position.

Man United are stepping up their efforts to sign a new left-back after Luke Shaw’s ongoing injury problems and their choice of replacement Tyrell Malacia also struggling with fitness.

Diogo Dalot has been deployed at left-back this season and this has weakened Man United’s defense and the balance of their team.

Fulham will demand around £40m for the United States international and it remains to be seen whether Man United, Liverpool or Chelsea are willing to match that.

The Red Devils are ready to open negotiations with Fulham over the potential signing of Robinson as they are well aware of interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.

Liverpool have opted for a new left back

Liverpool have problems at left-back with Andy Robertson not being the player he was a few seasons ago and his replacement Kostas Tsimikas unable to cement his place in the Anfield team.

The race to sign Robinson could soon heat up and Fulham would love to see a bidding war for their defender.

Fulham manager Marco Silva has no intention of letting the defender leave the club, so any club interested in signing him would have to meet the west London club’s demands.
