Leny Yoro has revealed how Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim made it clear in his workforce that he would not tolerate lack of effort, a few days after Marcus Rashford was sent on loan to Aston Villa.
The French defender, who joined United from Lille for £ 52 million in summer, explained that Amorim has established a high bar for discipline and commitment. Players who do not meet their expectations will be out of the team, just as Marcus Rashford did.
Talking about the podcast of Rio Ferdinand, Yoro opened on the style and expectations of Training of Amorim.
“I have a good relationship with Ruben Amorim. I just try to do what you ask me to do,” said Yoro. “He is great in communication with players because he played at a higher level. He has been to many clubs so he knows your feelings when you are not playing or when you have a bad game. Knowing to you, and that’s really Important to me. “
The strict demands of Amorim extend beyond the pitch
In the meantime, Rashford, who has supported United all his life, became the first victim of the hard position of Amorim. His transfer to Aston Villa marks a significant change in his career and only time will say if he will return to Old Trafford under the direction of Amorim.
The 27 -year -old striker had been out of the United States Day plants under Amorim, with reports that suggest that the manager was not impressed by his attitude and effort in training. He finally moved to Villa during the winter window.
The under Amorim formation is intense, Yoro explained. “In training, it’s really, I would say, hard. But it’s important. We have a lot of training and, for him, training is really important for you to play the game as if you come in,” he said. “The most important thing is to be really good In the training.
“I just want to be as prepared as possible,” he admitted. “But the pressure of playing to United has also affected. Yoro revealed that it prevents social media from protecting themselves from negativity.
