
The Legends League Cricket 2026 It marks the latest edition of the popular T20 tournament, bringing together several retired international superstars for another exciting chapter in competitive cricket. Designed to celebrate the legacy of the game’s greatest players, the league offers fans a rare opportunity to watch iconic cricketers return to the field and relive some of the magic that defined their illustrious careers.
Scheduled to be held from March 11 to March 27, 2026, this season promises to be bigger and more attractive than the previous one. The tournament will consist of 19 matches and will provide fans with high-quality cricket over two weeks. One of the highlights of this edition is its multi-city format as the matches will be held in four different cities across India.

Six franchises are competing this year, collectively spending over ₹30.56 crore in the player auction to secure 97 legendary cricketers. The six teams that will participate in this edition are:

The upcoming edition of MMC 2026 will feature several well-known and fan-favourite cricketers who have made a lasting impact on international cricket. The tournament will bring together a mix of explosive batsmen, crafty bowlers and experienced all-rounders, making it a treat for cricket lovers.
Among the biggest names in attendance Suresh RainaChris Gayle, Robin Uthappa, Harbhajan Singh, Martin Guptill, Dinesh Karthik, Irfan Pathan, Hashim Amla, Ross Taylor, Ravichandran Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara and Thisara Perera. These players have enjoyed illustrious careers at the highest level and are known for their match-winning abilities and leadership on the pitch.
Tournament format and venues
The 2026 season follows a single-round format with a standard playoff structure. In the league stage, each team plays the other five once (15 matches in total). Then the top four teams in the playoffs advance to Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the Grand Final.
