Leeds United appear to be considering a move for Kofi Shaw as Daniel Farke looks to strengthen his squad for another tough season in the Championship.
After coming so close to promotion to the Premier League, only to lose in the play-off finals in heartbreaking fashion, the German manager knows the fan base won’t settle for anything less this time around.
Unfortunately for Farke, he does not have the same arsenal of players to choose from as last season, with a number of top quality players such as Archie Gray no longer in the squad.
Despite their shaky start to the season, Leeds have bounced back just in time, winning four of their last five games, although they remain in fifth place.
The loss of Gray is clearly evident in the middle of the park, but according to the reporter’s reports Alan Nixon via his PatreonLeeds may be looking for another young star to take up their mantle.
Nixon claims the club are big admirers of Shaw from Bristol Rovers but may face competition from Aston Villa who have also shown an interest in the young star.
At just 17, it will still be a big question whether he can come to Elland Road and make a difference for Leeds if a deal were to be completed.
