Former referee and PGMOL boss Keith Hackett has put his head on the block and accused a Swansea player of cheating during Sunday’s game at Leeds.
Although the All Whites won the game 4-3, thanks to Willy Gnonto’s stoppage-time winner, a result that put Leeds top of the Championship table on goal difference, things could have been a little different for Daniel. Farke’s side.
Keith Hackett accuses the player of cheating in the Swansea vs Leeds match
“No. No, no (I think there was enough contact). He (Ronald) leaves before being challenged (before the free kick that led to Swansea’s first goal)” Hackett said ITV Leeds News.
“As referees, the game must clarify its action and deal with those players who are cheating. They are acts of simulation. Referees seem to have lost focus.

“Players go down for tactical reasons, players exaggerate the drop. Instead of dribbling the ball, they go to the floor. It’s not a foul for me.”
Despite losing a number of big names in the summer, Farke still has Leeds playing well enough to be considered favorites for automatic promotion.

That’s quite a feat considering the limitations the German has had to work with since failing to get straight back up last season.
one recent agreement made by the club has suggested a return to the top category, while Jurgen Klopp could be on hand to help when needed thanks to his new role with Leeds’ shirt sponsors Red Bull.
The manager can now use this epic win in a seven-goal classic to motivate his men for another period of intense games ahead of the January transfer window.
Topping the table means they are there to be taken down, though, and Farke should expect more opponents to try to pull the wool over the matchday referee’s eyes.
