Leeds United’s offer for automatic promotion suffered another setback, as they remained at a 1-1 tie of Luton Town in Kenilworth Road, a result that further complicates his path to the Premier League.
Although the fallen points were frustrating, the focus quickly moved to the disappointing departure of Joel Piroe, with director Daniel Farke clearly displeased with the striker screen.
The whites, who did not have sat for long time at the top of the championship, have fallen to third place now, reaching only one victory in their last six games.
With only six games, their promotion hopes are now under serious pressure.
Piroe performance on Saturday summarized Leeds’s recent struggles. The Dutchman was ineffective in an attack and looked at the pace from the beginning.
He could not complete a single Dribble, won only one of his 17 duels and was not successful in the eight aerial challenges, despite his physical stature.
Add -four times dispossessed and multiple passes the wrong passes, it is clear why frustration is increasing.
Daniel Farke was not happy with Piroe
A moment, in particular, obtained an angry response from Farke. Piroe fell in the midfield to receive a simple pass from Pascal Struijk, but with the pressure on his back, he searched a dismissal for the first time for the junior firpo that was out of play.
The misfortune led to a Luton launch and led to a visibly annoying reaction from Farke to the margin.
Lutv Commentator Bryan Lawreported on the visible frustration of the manager to the player. Stated:
“Struijk, straight ball in Piroe, but that will not work. Piroe goes out and happens, which will be a launch of Luton and Daniel Farke, below, it is not completely happy.”

This last game marked six games without any contribution for Piroe. Despite having 15 goals and six assists in 40 games this season, its form has fallen at a critical moment.
As Leeds struggles to recover a more important place, they will need more from the attacking core.
If Leeds has to relive their push for promotion, their key players, including Piroe, must deliver -under pressure.
