Wedgeworks 44F is a great option for players with stronger iron groups.

As the Iron Lofts have strengthened over the years, the desired newly desired golf length has created problems with the gap between the handcuffs and the wedge groups.
Wedge experts in Vokey design of title You have seen this trend, offering 48 degrees, and since SM4 of 2012, even a 46 -degree action for players to replace their sharp wedge or fill a gap between their cuffs and wedges.
But while T100 cuff of title title You have an attractive wedge (standard 46 degrees) that matches Vokey Retail 46.10f, the rest of the manufacturer’s series cuffs fall from the concert with Vokey’s retail offers. The T150 Wedge of the T150 is 44 degrees, while the T200 and T350 fraud wedges are an even stronger 43 degrees.
Now this will change. Vokey is aiming to help players with stronger handcuffs of their gap with the presentation of Vokey Wedgeworks 44F.
“Vokey 46 has been such a valuable club for so many, tour players and amateurs alike,” Vokey Tour rep Aaron Dill said in a press release. “It offers the profile that player Vokey Wedge Loves, swelling and grinding that creates the right start and rotation, and consistency in the numbers carried. With lofts strengthening in iron groups, we needed a lower head to avoid the sacrifices coming from strengthening a 46.”
What is it:
Vokey Wedgeworks 44f Pitching Wedge is a stronger version of the 46.10F wedge that will help players with stronger groups improve their gap throughout the bag.
“44F was a much needed opportunity for our players globally,” Dill said, “as it helps to achieve the right yard with the right look, feeling and performance.”
The only one is the same F-grind bounce found in other Vokey wedges and gap wedges designed to improve the interaction of the ground in full shake shots.
Why is it good:
Many of the title tour players Prefer to use a Vokey Pitching wedge Due to the rotating benefits of Vokey grooves, which help prevent flyers and increase swelling in the sole for better interaction of the terrain.

Previously, if a player needed a strong wedge stronger than 46 degrees to match the iron lofts to the gap, they will have to take a 46 -degree head and bend it strong, which increases the compensation and removes the jump, making the wedge more prone to excavation.
“When a player does not have enough swelling, often the location of vertical impact can be higher on the face, which results in less rotation and more height,” Dill said.
Now players have a 44 -degree option as they increase flatulence and reduce compensation.
For whom it is:
If you have a set of handcuffs with a sharp wedge at 45 degrees or stronger and have enough ability to play a wedge similar to the blade or you like to use your Pitching Wedge exclusively as a short game clubWedgeworks 44F new can be for you.
44f is already in the PGA Tour Wynham Clark winner bag. Some other tour professionals have also introduced Vokey’s strongest wedges, as they have benefited from stronger iron groups.

“Wyndham was originally at 46.10f Bent Strong, who lowered swelling. In softer conditions, his strike would tend to be higher in the face than optimal, which is what we were trying to eliminate,” Dill said. “44f Bent a little weak was a perfect adjustment. He gave him more bounce and helped to keep his flight down, and we stayed in a profile that suits his eye. She added confidence, as he knew he could aggressively hit the ground and believe that he would get the result he was looking for. It is a tweak that we could not have made with a 46 -degree head. “
44f was also in the Lydia KO bag when she won last weekend at the HSBC Women’s World Championship of LPGA.
Wedges specialty that is not of course for everyone as they can be less forgiving than the deception wedge that comes in a typical game of game improvement. But for those who are quite stable, it can be a real help for accuracy.
