Breaking4 was a call weather event.
Stade Charlesi, in Paris, France, in France, Squeaky Fast Mondo Track, Breaking4 mentioned a athlete, three times the Olympic gold medalist, world champion and 5,000 meters.
Faith in Kipegon is a huge athlete, a mother and global role model for women of all ages. His experience of 4 minute miles resulted in 4. 06.9 miles, the world’s attention was taken only so that Nike could do. Was it on top? Yes did he not break for 4 minutes? No, and I’m not sure it was ever in the cards.

But what faith did Cipegon have, giving the world four minutes and six plus seconds, to run a mile, reminded a new generation that dreams can come true? Somewhere in the world is a young women who saw the race and could be inspired to drive that mile.
The audio below was a fun interview I made with Sarah Mulkerrins and BBC Ed Harry as a preview 4 occurred on June 26 2025. I hope you will enjoy it.
I love my job with BBC, funny and inspiring and allows me to share my enthusiasm with many in world sports. Special thanks to those Harry and Sarah Mults, who are always so merciful.
And thanks to the faith of Cipegon, who inspires millions.
