Young Australian wicketkeeper Lachlan Shaw takes a stunning catch as he bowls forward in the 35th match of the Big Bash League between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Sixers. However, he took this catch while fielding in the deep, not as a wicketkeeper.
The left-arm seamer during the last innings of the Adelaide Strikers Ben Dwarshuis Bowled a full delivery off stump for a batter Alex Ross. It was a length delivery that Ross tried to hit hard towards the short boundary at midwife.
The ball rose into the air and continued to spin around. Lachlan Shaw, who was fielded in the deep, ran out of bounds and made a fantastic leap at the end and caught the ball cleanly with both hands.

It was an amazing catch from Lachlan Shaw and he couldn’t believe his catch. Despite the ball moving noisily through the air, he kept his eyes on the ball for one of his best catches of the season.
Ross gave the Sixers a big wicket at the end of the innings as he was brilliantly dismissed for 48 off 37 balls. It was also Shaw’s first catch of the day, and it turned out to be spectacular.

Earlier, Sydney Sixers won the toss and elected to field first. Matthew Short was dismissed cheaply, giving the Sydney Sixers a huge boost. Forwards were reduced to 35-3 as goaltenders Alex Carey 18 out of 13 balls were dismissed for rapid fire.
But Ollie Pope, England’s Test vice-captain, bowled brilliantly and hit brilliantly under pressure. He found a great partner in Alex Ross and both led his team to a comfortable position.
Pope was dismissed for 57 off 39 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Comprehensive Jamie Overton He hit 32 off 14 balls with 3 fours and 1 six to give his team a perfect finish as they finished with 182-5. Jack Edwards and Todd Murphy took two wickets each for the Sixers.

In reply, Sydney Sixers lost Josh Philippe early but Jack Edwards and Steve Smith steadied the ship with a crucial partnership. Edwards didn’t contribute much but Smith looked in devastating form with the bat.
The veteran scored 52 off just 31 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. The innings looked to be derailed at 92-5 but Lachlan Shaw again came to the rescue. Young played a brilliant shot under pressure to bring the Sixers closer to victory.
Shaw was dismissed but Ben Dwarshuis moved down the order. Hayden Kerr stayed until the end to lead the Sixers to a narrow victory with just one possession. Lloyd Pope and Jamie Overton picked up two wickets each for the Strikers, but it was not enough in the end.
