‘The Krusher’ Sergey Kovalev is tipping Tyson Fury defeating Anthony Joshua in the ‘Battle of Britain’ when the two former heavyweight world champions meet in 2025.
“Fragile” chin
Kovalev says Joshua is “fragile” in the chin department, and that’s why he thinks Fury can win. Sergey isn’t saying that Fury’s power isn’t at the level of the fighters that AJ has had issues with during his career.

Only two of those fighters have beaten Joshua, showing that he is resilient and finds a way to recover when hurt during his fights. Fury is nowhere near any of those fighters power-wise, and his method of scoring knockouts involves tearing his opponents apart. Joshua is too powerful to be worn down by Fury’s hold and lean tactics.
It is unclear whether Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) will agree to fight Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) after suffering his second loss to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk last Saturday night in Riyadh.
Fury, 36, sounded like a bitter politician after the fight, angry at the judges and in complete and utter denial about what happened. His love of money will probably bring him back.
There is too much green stuff for the Gyspy King not to return for two lucrative fights against the faded Joshua, who was blown out of the water by Daniel Dubois on September 21st. If Fury wasn’t in money, he’d probably retire and never be seen again, but he won’t be able to resist returning for the $100 million payday against AJ. Both fighters are expected to rake in more than $100 million for their ‘Battle of Britain’ clash.
