#1 Keyshawn Davis predicts he will knock out the WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk on 10 days on February 14 in Madison Square Garden Theater in New York.
Davis (12-0, 8 COs) has never been a knockout during his short pro career or in the amateur ranks, but his recent second round ko of the slow, short 5’5 1/2 ″ Gustavo Lemos on November 8 last year gave him the belief that he was a power man.
Keyshawn is large for the 135 pound division, and looks just as big as welterweight Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis when rebuilding for his battles on lightweight. That could be the reason why he knocked out Lemos. Davis, 25, in that battle looked two divisions larger than the little Gustavo.
Tank’s radar?
However, Berinchyk has real skills, and if Keyshawn tries to blow him out, he may be embarrassed as he was in his four losses to Andy Cruz and his poor performances against Nahir Albright and Miguel Madueno.
Those battles have shown that KeyShawn must be protected and kept far away from high-level opposition, unless it is a payout situation against Gervonta Davis. It is good for Keyshawn to fight, because the money will make it worthwhile after losing.
Tank can give him the same treatment he did with Vasily Lomachenko, and he treats him like a leper to avoid. If this seems to be the situation, then Keyshawn does not spend the next four to six years to put him on or use his name for Clout.
It will look so bad. Keyshawn calls him too much instead of carving his career by fighting Andy Cruz, Raymond Muratalla, William Zepeda and Ernesto Mercado. In other words, the fighters who would probably beat Keyshawn.
“The businessman” mark

Nothing has changed. The only difference is that his promoters carefully matched him against a defeatable opposition and even chose the worst link between the champions at 135. They are not crazy enough to throw him in the deep end with one of the Sharks and see how their investment does not drop the drain.
At this point, Keyshawn is just another creation, just like former Top fighter Edgar Berlanga. He is a smaller version and much more of a self -promoter/Braggart.
Theofimo’s league
“Round one,” Keyshawn says to the media When asked what round he would knock out. “These guys run for me. I don’t know when I’m going to get theo (Lopez). I’m tired of chasing. I made my own lane. Why would theofimo Lopez want to fight against Keyshawn? The two do not fight in the same weight class, and there is nothing for him to earn from it? Davis is not popular and has not fought well in his four-year pro career. If Keyshwww wants to prove himself on 140 to get a fight against theofimo, he must stand up and defeat Ernesto Mercado.
I don’t think Keyshawn would ever fight against Mercado because he is too good, but that would be the way to prove himself worthy of a title shot against the WBO lights Welterweight Champion Theofimo Lopez instead of begging for it after gustavo Lemos beat.
