Keyshawn Davis sounds bitter about the news of Theofimo Lopez that goes up to Welterweight to tackle Devin Haney in a 145-pound catch fight on August 16 in Saudi Arabia. Davis (13-0, 9 food) considers this move by theofimo as a sign that he is “Afraid” of him because he is chasing a fight.
Davis: unwilling to move on
Keyshawn claims that he does not want to “Keep bullying” Lopez (22-1, 13 costs). However, he is the one who prevents the battle from happening by insisting by staying in the safety of the 135 pound division, holding the WBO title, and fighting for inactive opposition that fans are not familiar with. Davis uses 135 as his Foxhole to hide Out of the talents at 147.
Keyshawn is great for the lightweight section and looks like a welterweight that prefers to reduce weight to enjoy a monstrous weight advantage after rehydrating for his battles. In other words, he is a weight bully, and he makes a career with the help of that sneaking strategy.
“Teo is so scared of me. He wants to move to 147 because he knows I’m on his A **. I can’t keep chasing people. At this point I don’t want to keep him,” Keyshawn Davis said about TheOFIMO Lopez.
There would be no problem if Keyshawn moves to Welterweight to join the pool of sharks in the 147 pound division. This is where the money is. If Davis had any insight, he would know that he was wasting his time at 135 because the man he dreamed of fighting one of these days, Gerrvonta Davis, never fights against him because he is not interested in fighting a non-popular which it is In reality a welter weight.
Keyshawn’s lack of ambition
Theofimo has more ambition than Keyshawn, and he has already shown that he constantly wants to fight against the welterweight King Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis and the junior middleweight Terence Crawford. Why can’t Keyshawn do it? The reason is obvious. He does not want to lose his unbeaten record and be exposed by the fighters. He is just as big as Crawford and Ennis, but does not want to mix it with those talents.
