Kelvin Davis promises to strike Nahir Albright this Saturday at ESPN+ Prelims

Welterweight prospect Kelvin Davis (15-0.8 COs) predicts that he will knock Nahir Albright (16-2, 7 COs) in their 10-round undercad fight this Saturday, June 7, in the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Their battle will be on the ESPN+ preliminary map starting at 17:10 ET / 14:10 pt,

The slender 6’1 ″ Kelvin is the older brother of Keyshawn Davis, who is ahead of the opportunity against Edwin de Los Santos. Kevlin’s opponent, Albright, last fought on October 14, 2023 and lost a 10 -round majority decision to Keyshawn. The combat results were later changed to a decision after Keyshawn tested positive for a forbidden substance.

Unlike Keyshawn, Kelvin did not have a wonderful amateur career. He had a mediocre 25-13 record. In his five years as a pro, Kelvin has not yet adopted a significant fighter. It makes sense because he did not show that he was ready.

Albright gave Davis a lot of problems in that fight, made him disappear in the eighth round and arrived strongly in the championships to close it. One judge scored it 95-95, who agreed many boxing, was the best score of the three. Albright followed the same blueprint as Andy Cruz used to defeat Keyshawn with pressure.

Kelvin Davis considers himself a puncher, but he is not. His eight knockouts came to lower level opposition. He still has to fight a contender. He was exposed last year in his fight against Kevin Johnson, and struggled to win a ten -round majority decision.

Kelvin Davis predicts Albright Ko

“It’s definitely things. He is just another name I had to get out of the way. On June 8, we should see Kelvin Davis Ko on Boxrec, ‘Kelvin Davis said Fighting type About his prediction for his fight Nahir Albright on Saturday, June 7 in the Scope Arena.

Even if Kelvin wins this battle, he did not show the talent to compete against top fighters at 140 or 147. If he thinks he’s going to win this battle and compete with top-welter weights, he makes himself. He may beat some bottom 15-level contenders, but not the top 10 fighters. He is too thin to swim with the sharks.

“I feel like it’s a bad mentality that he’s lucky to waive,” Kelvin said of Albright’s mindset to be happy that he did the distance with Keyshawn in his last fight in 2023. “His mentality is different from mine because I would love me.”

Albright’s Keyshawn Fight Aftermath

It is understandable why Albright should feel proud that he stopped Davis in 2023. With Keyshawn now holding the 135-pound WBO title, Albright must feel good that he has given Keyshawn a lot of problems.

Davis: “Kill his dreams”

“He is just happy for the event. It was a long time that he was back on this stage. I’m going to kill his dreams on this map on Saturday night, ‘Davis said about Nahir. “If the bell rings, he’s going to have tunnel vision, and he’s going to come to the battle.”

Kelvin should be happy that his brother, Keyshawn, let him fight his lower cards, because without them he would weaken in darkness. He did not show the kind of talent on the main cards.

“I’m going to do my thing. We are in Norfolk and I have to protect my home field. I’m going to do everything in my power to get this man asleep. I just raised with him. He is far too little for me. He comes from 135 to 140. It’s not just an ordinary 140 pounds. He fights a 6’1 ″ 140 pounder that is a puncher, ‘Kelvin says.

It would not be a shock if Albright beat Kelvin in handy on Saturday night and possibly stop him. If Albright fights at the same level he did against Keyshawn two years ago, he will be too good for Kelvin. That version of Albight beat Kelvin handy.
