The Olympic 800m champion was due to compete in Berlin and Brussels but will now not compete again this summer
Keeley Hodgkinson is out for the season after picking up a minor injury.
After winning the Olympic title in Paris, followed by a short family holiday, she was due to run the 400m in Berlin and attempt a fast 800m at the Diamond League finals in Brussels in mid-September.
But on Wednesday (August 21), he said on social networks: “No more racing for me. Unfortunately I had a bit of an injury but we achieved everything I hoped to do this year, thanks for the love and support. See you next year on the track.”
