The British duo will meet reigning world gold medalist Kenya at the Prefontaine Classic on July 4.
Last year’s World Championship women’s 800m one-two-three finishers will compete at the Prefontaine Classic on July 4 in Eugene, Oregon.
Hodgkinson just set an indoor world record of 1:54.87 in Liewyn this month, but was beaten by training partner Hunter Bell and Odira at the Worlds in Tokyo last September.

Hunter Bell also won a bronze medal in the 1500m at the 2024 Olympics as Hodgkinson won the Olympic title in the 800m.
As a student-athlete at the University of California, Berkeley, Hunter Bell first competed at Hayward Field in Eugene at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships.

When Odira won in Tokyo, he set a personal best of 1:54.62, the seventh fastest time in history, breaking a championships record that had stood for more than 42 years.
The Prefontaine Classic will take place July 3-4 with the Mutola 800m, named after the multiple winner of the women’s 800m at the July 4 event.
