In case you have not heard, Rory Mcilroy won masters And he scored his career Grand Slam, an achievement that took him more than a decade to end as he tried to bring down that elusive title of masters.
Mcilroy won his first first in 2011 and had the third match of the Grand Slam career secured in 2014. All left was the masters, but a decade passed and he was still without the coveted jacket.
He had some narrow calls – not just the masters, but in some degrees – and India scar was starting to build.
But a few weeks ago in Masters on Sunday, Mcilroy insisted through a fourth round of a rotor to finally complete the Slam.
He accepted the great pressure he was under afterwards. Heck, even some players were nervous about him.
“I was nervous looking and not playing,” said Keegan Bradley, who lost her cut. “I had this feeling I don’t know if another human being in the golf world has felt that kind of pressure ever.”
Bradley reflected in mcilroy masters in Podcast Subpar of Golf – which was registered directly in the bank at Hilton Head Island with Bradley and Akshay Bhatia During the RBC legacy – and said the fact that Mcilroy needed masters as his last leg made Slami much more challenging.
“People can say everything they want for these other degrees, but the masters are the biggest,” Bradley said. “And to score it and win it, you are looking at a celebration life. Forget about Grand Slam, you win the masters, you are doing it until you are 85. And you get to enjoy, you get to celebrate your golf career and it’s something that is really special. And for a player like Rory is not fun.
The Mcilroy Grand Slam career was only sixth in golf history, joining Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
