Gary Neville and Roy Keane have branded Kyle Walker a “disgrace” for his antics in an altercation with Rasmus Hojlund on Sunday. Manchester derby.

Hojlund reacted angrily to a trip from Walker just before the break, rushing to confront the Man City captain.

‘The attitude is not right’ – Roy Keane thinks it’s time for Man Utd to sell a star player!

However, what followed will surely serve as pure humiliation for Walker, who went down in a heap despite Hojlund barely making contact with his head.

Both players were shown a yellow card for the incident by referee Anthony Taylor, but ex Man Utd Captain Keane believes Walker should have received an even harsher punishment.

“I would have given Walker a red card (for the altercation with Hojlund),” a disgusted Keane told Sky Sports (via BBC Sport). “Walker should be ashamed to go down like that – an experienced player. I don’t know the guy and I’m embarrassed for him.”

Keane’s former team-mate Neville was commentating on the moment live for Sky Sports and prompted the Irishman to go on a similar rant.

“He’s poor of Kyle Walker,” said Neville. “He goes down when he realizes there might be contact. I think he’ll be a little embarrassed when he sees it back.”

Both Keane and Neville have a point, with Walker sure to see red when he sees the moment tonight.

Hojlund, meanwhile, will probably feel a little hard given that he clearly didn’t go out to hurt Walker, although putting his head on an opponent is always a risk in the modern game.

Fortunately for the managers, this is only Walker’s second yellow card of the Premier League season, while it is the first for Danish striker Hojlund.
