Katerina Siniakova secured ranking no. 1 of the WTA year-end doubles, earning the honor for the fifth time in her career.

The reigning doubles champion was honored during a special presentation at the WTA Finals on Wednesday.
Siniakova is now tied with Martina Navratilova, with each doubles icon recording five seasons for the most year-end doubles finishes in WTA history. The 29-year-old Czech previously finished the season No.1 in 2018 (when he was ranked No.1 with Barbora KrejcÃkova), 2021, 2022 and 2024.
She is one of only 12 players to ever hold the WTA year-end No.1 ranking more than once.
It has kept the ranking no. 1 WTA doubles for a total of 168 weeks, which is the third most of all time, behind only Leizel Huber (199) and Martina Navratilova (237).
Siniakova, a former world No.27 in singles, also has two Olympic gold medals – one in mixed (2024 Paris), one in doubles (2020 Tokyo) – and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title (2025 Wimbledon).
