Karen Chukhadzhian was moved up to the #10 place in the ring’s new welterweight ranking after the defeat of Jin Sasaki. Chukhadzhian (25-3, 13 COs) is known by fans for the difficult time he gave Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis, especially in their re-broadcast in November in Philadelphia.
Karen’s elite talent of 147 pounds
Chukhadzhian made boots looked like an amateur amateur, beat him all night with pot shots and even got him out of the way. He was like a cross between Artur Betterbiev and Floyd Mayweather jr. With what he looked like in that battle, and Ennis was happy to win.
It was an impressive performance by Karen, which showed that his talent is one of the best in the 147-pound division. Chukhadzhian should have been moved to the top five place after the battle, because no one else would have stopped. After the fight, Boots looked depressed at the press conference after the fight. He knew Karen went to school.

The analysis of Ring’s Welter Gegglist
Champion: Jaron Ennis
1 Brian Norman jr.
2 Eimantas Stanionis
3 Mario Barrios
4 young Santillan
5 Shakhram Giyasov
6 Rohan Polanco
7 Alexis Rocha
8 Raul Curiel
9 Ekow Essuman
10 Karen Chukhadzhian
Some of these fighters do not belong on top -10 list. I would remove Stanionis, Rocha and Barrios. Those guys don’t have the talent to be in the top -10.
Interestingly, the updated welterweight ranking of the Rings recently knocked out former WBA champion Eimantas Stanionis on #2, despite being stopped in the sixth round in the sixth round in the sixth round in a fight that was one-sided from start to end. That #2 rankings make zero sense compared to how now Chukhadzhian Ennis fought.

Promotion -Barriors for Chukhadzhian
Unfortunately for Chukhadzhian, he is not with one of the major promotional businesses that can get him the fight and publicity that he needs to make more out of his career. If he was with a match room or a top rankings, he will have opportunities to make a name for himself.
