Kambosos’ path to victory: how early aggression and pressure can unravel hitchins

Promoter Eddie Hearn says George Kambosos has a chance to pull off a dismay tonight as he starts fast, uses a lot of aggression and does not allow the IBF lights to build a large early lead.

Hitchins (19-0, 7 food) is the favorite against Kambosos (22-3, 10 COs) for their main liner in the theater in Madison Square Garden in New York. It is an opponent who has chosen Hitchins by hand after failing to get a fight against Theofimo Lopez. It is not ideal, but Richardson would not be his no. 1 -contender, Subriel Matias, does not choose, due to the risk in question.

Hitchins’ weaknesses

  • Constant owned
  • Vulnerable for pressure
  • Low power
  • A runner -up
  • No inside -game
  • Lack of aggression

Kambosos Established Plan has unveiled

“Much of this battle depends on how much George has left, and how Richardson can put himself in that boiler of madness,” Eddie Hearn said Fighting typeDispose Richardson Hitchins against George Kambosos Jr. Fight for tonight. “If you experience, you go to George because of what he last did and all the massive evenings he was part of.”

Kambosos is as good as always, but it seems he has lost some hand speed since 2021. He still has enough doll in his blows to worry about if he can get to him early before he builds up an edge. If hitchins can get a big lead in the first half of the competition, he will coast in the later rounds by constantly moving. That’s what He does. He builds an edge and then goes into his preventive defense and runs for the second half of the fight. It is effective, but not entertaining to look at.

“Is he good enough. You should be good enough to deal with the skills of hitchins, which is very good. The brain would say: ‘Hitchins on points. “For me, the first three rounds of this fight are very important,” says Hearn. “If George can come into the fight, if he is not 3-zero, 4-zero, chasing, then he has a great chance in the fight.

Hitchins emphasized by pressure

Kambosos must get past the hard, quick shots that Hitchins throw to come to him to join. He is vulnerable as his opponent land. We saw that in Hitchins’ fights against Gustavo Lemos and Jose Zepeda. Those guys were not the fastest fighters, but they had enough power to stress out Richardson, causing him to lose his shade.

“When we did the show in March, it was a very different George. He is a big stage fighter. What I see about him now is what I have seen against Teo. That’s why he is here. He doesn’t need it for the money. He has a lot of money. George is here for legacy. If he wins this battle, he is the biggest Australian fighter of all time, I think, “I think,” Hearn said.

Kambosos is definitely motivated this week, with the same kind of war -like personality as he showed in his collision against Theofimo Lopez in 2021. However, he stands in front of a fighter than the Teo. Hitchins is a pure boxer in the Shakur shape with excellent hand speed.
