Former IBF, WBA, WBO and Ring magazine Lightweight Champion Kambosos Jr’s career has hit rock bottom over the past three years, losing twice to Haney, getting knocked out by Vasily Lomachenko and a questionable majority decision against Maxi Hughes won.
Match promoter Eddie Hearn recently signed Kambosos to a multi-fight contract through the end of 2024, and he will debut at 140 on March 22 in Sydney. Hearn has not yet said what he plans to do with Kambosos, but it is likely that he is fishing for him in a title rematch against Teofimo Lopez.
