Justin Thomas says he wants to dare his amateur partners playing. Provocation, after all, can be a powerful medicine.
But apparently then, he knows where they will end.
Speaking in a video recently released by the title – which you can see completely By clicking here – Thoma He had been hitting in a Flag 103 yard away at the California Title Institute and reviewing his pre-shop process. In neutral conditions, he said, he would hit a lobe wedge at that distance. But there was some smell. The pin was also six steps, and nearby was a bunker. He would need something more.
“I don’t know if I can get a lobe wedge halfway there now,” Thomas said in the video. “So yes. That’s a lot of feeling, a kind of matching everything because I don’t do it – if I hit something hard, as if I hit a wedge of even, I could easily get Wedge Gap there, but it’s back again, think where I can’t control it.
“So I will surely-I don’t like to hit full wedge; I will like speed.
Here, one of two video hosts, Andy Proudman I I and my golf The guidance team, caught in that last sentence.
“Something amateur players do all the time,” he said. “They hit the 9-and off 100 yards, right?”
But Thomas didn’t mind. Just as there are no pictures on the results card, nor is there any boxes to record your club’s choice.
Said Proudman: “But I think what you said, I want to control the spin. You are just looking to remove the spin, so it won’t climb alone and end up short, but even when sitting down, you almost probably want to land this very dead, would you say?
Said Thomas: “exactly, yes. It would be one if the wind is the same way, even removing this too much, I would allow it to turn it on if it is steep towards me maybe one or two yards. So I became wedge in my hands.
Thomas then hit. His ball ended about 20 meters to the right of the target, but the top pin.

And safe. Thomas then thought about amateurs again.
In the video, another co-perpetrator, Piers Ward said he thought the players would hit their club with 100 yards, hit him well-and end up in the sand.
“It is worrying for me to watch amateurs every week in Pro-AMS just not hit a lot of club,” Thomas said. “I’m like guys. This game is quite hard already. You’re hitting a club no matter how well you hit this, won’t get there. So just hit more club. I dare you hit it over a green.”
Proudman said: “So we will say this for the next 20 years.”
Said Ward: “Still the ego takes the road.”
Said Thomas, speaking first as an amateur, then as he himself: “” I can’t hit a driver in a par-3. “
“I will be like. Okay, you can’t get there without.”
