Promoter Eddie Hearn today denied the reports that Anthony Joshua will fight next next against Martin Bakole or Deontay Wilder. Hearn said he is ‘Didn’t have one conversation About Joshua (35), fighting Bakole next.
The way Hearn said this, you can see that he will never allow AJ in a million years anywhere near Bakole and that he has finished the remaining of his sinking career. Joshua earned a fortune with the careful matchmaking that Hearn did for him.
No bakingols, says Hearn
It makes sense that Joshua (28-4, 25 COs) does not fight the dangerous knockout baking (21-1, 16 COs) because his chances at winning would be zero.
Bakole looked like Sonny Liston With how he sent America’s best heavyweight heap, Jared Anderson, on August 3 in Los Angeles in five rounds. He throws short arm stalks without liquidating, and that’s all it took for Ko Jared. Where does Bakole fight that power?
Joshua was cleaned in five rounds in his last fight by IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois on September 21, which ruined Hearn’s Four -match rebuilding work He did with him in a futile attempt to restore him to the Vintage Factory Form he had when he became Pro in 2013.
Hearn didn’t say anything about the investment in another rebuild for AJ, so it looks like he’ll focus on the best payable, winable battle for Joshua. At this point it would be the 39-year-old Deontay Wilder.
Joshua could probably still win that fight, as long as the 6’7 “former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay does not withdraw his right hand to use it against him. If Wilder lands that punch, AJ will be done for the night, no matter what round.
Hearn’s denial
“The latest one someone sent me on Saturday and said,” Anthony Joshua against Martin Bakole is finished, signed. “We have not yet had one conversation about the fight,” Eddie Hearn said to box the box of the match room and deny the reports that former two -time heavyweight champion Joshua faces the dangerous puncher Bakole next.
“I definitely don’t, but it has never been a conversation,” Hearn continued. “So I don’t know where it came from.
“I saw one last night,” Wilder-Joshua is ready for June 7. “I haven’t had one conversation about that battle yet. I spoke to AJ for the first time in a few weeks yesterday, and he’s actually in a good spirit. ‘
