George Martin has signed a two-year contract to join Yamaha in 2027
According to the report Motorsport SpainGeorge Martin is completing a two-year deal that will see him ride for the factory Yamaha team in 2027.
The deal comes after another injury setback for the Spaniard, who is watching from the sidelines for a pre-season test in Sepang.
A switch to Yamaha machinery in 2027 will mark the 2024 world champion’s third specialist bike in four years.
MotoGP fans thought Yamaha was ‘confused’ With Quattararo’s departure announced, however, Martin could be the man to save them from another disappointing season in 2027.
It remains to be seen who Martin will pair up with at Yamaha next year.
It has been suggested that Alex Rins will not remain as a factory Yamaha rider, opening the door to a partnership with 28-year-old Torak Razgatlioglu in 2027.
