Jordan Spieth still has to win the PGA Championship to complete the Grand Slam career.

Now that he has the Grand Slam career off the street, will Rory Mcilroy keep alive for the dream of a single season? Can Jordan Spieth match Rory and finally provide a career clash? WILL More Stop the rain in Charlotte?! 2025 PGA Championship It starts this week at the Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina, where you are normally used to seeing him to host the Truist Championship (once Wells Fargo). But not this year. Here are our burnt questions for the second main of 2025.
Will Jordan Spieth Slam capture?
You are up, Jordan. Mcilroy finally kidnapped his career Grand Slam with the victory of his masters last month, which means Spieth and Phil Mickelson are the only active players still a big away from joining that exclusive group. While Mickelson needs US Open, Spieth needs this, the PGA championship. He has not ended better than 29 in any of his last five PGAs and his best conclusion was his Jason Day competitor in Whistling Straits a decade ago. He has not won since the 2022 RBC heritage and has danced between the average and good this season – six 25 and two top 5 – though he has never ended better than T28 in his four beginnings in Quail Hollow. Before Rory won the masters, the Grand Slam Slam career was always on it. Jordan’s direction has now been moved.
Can Rory take the first two legs of the Slam season?
Speaking about Spieth, he is the last player to win the first two legs of Grand Slam of the season when he won masters and US Open in 2015 (before the PGA champion was transferred in May). While it’s not easy task, Mcilroy Luan Quail Hollow extremely Well and, with Monkey Masters off the back, a victory here is more than possible and will provide another juicy scenario to continue to the US Open.

Will a star win again?
If you are studying for your golf pools, do not move too far for that. The cream seems to always rise to the top in the PGA. Check out the names of the winners of the last eight PGA championships: Xander Schauffle, Brooks Koepka (3), Justin Thomas (2), Mickelson and Collin Morikawa.
Will Scottie Scheffler be arrested again?
Is unlikely.
Will Scottie Scheffler win a big non-master?
Yes! I mean, one day. Or not? World no. There are two masters titles, but he still does not have to win one of the other three diplomas, though he has nine 10 in them. Scheffler – quite embarrassing, can we add – did NO Win on his first eight beginnings of the season, though he ended up that interspenable line with a record victory at CJ Cup Byron Nelson two weeks ago. Just the moment he had to go to the second second of the year? It can be.
Is Justin Thomas … again?
He certainly seems to be! There is a lot to like about Thomas’s game that goes this week. He has won two degrees in his career and the two have been the PGA championships, and recently he ended a victory without a win – dating back to the 2022 PGA – with a victory in RBC Heritage last month. In its only beginning since then, in the Last week’s Hrape Championship, Thomas was tied up for the second and ended two of the superiority. At 11 starts this season he has not lost a cut, has three racing endings and six 10 balls. In his last four beginnings in Quail Hollow he has ended between 14 and 26 and, oh yes, won the last PGA there, again in 2017. Conditions can also be soft, which is good news for his game. His head should be in a good place now.
Has Collin Morikawa been reflected…?
Morikawa was linked for last 17 weeks to his first event with Caddy Joe Greiner, but are degrees that matter here, people, so we will see how the new duet deals with Quail Hollow. Greiner was tied to Max Homa when wells Fargo won in 2019, and the Morikawa was T16 in Wells Fargo last year. He has been looking for his first victory since October 2023 and is still stuck in two degrees after securing two in a space from the beginning in 2020-21.
Is Max Homa regenerated…?
It’s been a strange year for Max. New Caddy (Goodbye Greiner; Sign in Bill arc). He lost five straight cuts, but with no positive signs in a T12 in masters. While a 70th place end next week in Harbour Town was not ideal, it was T30 last week and is now returning to his first PGA Tour’s career victory in 2019, a place where he is also connected for the last 8 years during Wells Fargo. Vibes are good here for Homa. This is a promising beginning.
it’s it Jon Rahm’s main dance?
While it can be a factoid that is only interesting to me, Jon Rahm has never ended up 10 balls in its early 19 Livi. He has also not won a major since membership in Liv. (Yes, he is aware of this too.) PGA, for whatever reason, has been the disappointing peculiarity for him. He lost his shortening last year and was T50 and T48 two years ago. For Rory, the gain of masters seemed to be just a matter of time. Can the same be said for the other Major of Rahm? He has been in the first 14 places in each of the last two.
Are we overlooking Sepp?!
Two players with many PGA Tour win this year? Mcilroy … and sepp straka. The latter won the Truist championship in the Philly Cricket Club on Sunday, so he goes to Charlotte with High Spirits and Game Sharp. Will last week’s success continue? Or are we intended for a burn? The guy played brilliantly this year, with 10 top 25 to go with his two victories. He has only two top 10 balls in his career and none in his last five beginnings, but he has never been playing better (and tied to the 8th at Wells Fargo in Quail last year).
