In the last event of Golf season Ion Rahm Finally found on top of the podium.
After a season in which the Spaniard failed to win a single individual title, Rahm (along with his team’s XIII team friends) will still go to the champagne season after winning the Liv Michigan Long Squad title on Sunday.
The team title comes a week after Rahm claimed the individual crown of the season at Liv Indianapolis, which generated a lot of controversy. As mentioned before, Rahm did not win a single individual tour of the tournament in its 2025 campaign. Joaquin NiemannTotal, which withdrew from his five wins.
Many experts question the legitimacy of the Rahm seasonal title without any individual to win in his name. But after helping his legion XIII team win the team title, he believes the controversy can be put in bed.
“If there would ever be a question mark or a star to win the whole season without winning, in my mind, with that goes away,” he said. “It is a lot of validity for all of us, in my mind, for the team, how well we did all year, and to make it done, stressful, but we have done it, and I wouldn’t want it in any other way.”
Rahm’s team defeated Bryson dechambeau Crushers GC in a Play off on Sunday. The victory marks the Legion XIII team’s first championship after its expansion season in 2024, and is caught a season in which Rahm, along with teammates of Tyrrell Hatton, Tom McKibbin and Caleb surrat, won five times as a team.
“It was really fun to make and fun to be a part,” Rahm said. “I wouldn’t want to share this moment with anyone else.”
Rahm may not have set up a trophy itself in 2025, but doing this over and over again as part of a team makes a heck of a condolence price.
“It’s a great feeling,” Rahm said. “It’s been a long year. I’m happy that I finally won a play off and I couldn’t be the most careful of them all.”
