The WBO Super Flyweight Champion Phumelela Cafu and WBC champion Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez both successfully weighed on Friday for their 12-round unit fight this Saturday, July 19, in the Ford Center in the Star in Frisco, Texas.

Cafu: “Coming for Bam’s Head”
Cafu (11-0-3, 8 food) says he is “Come for Bam’s head” Saturday because he believes that it will be difficult for him to win a decision against the indigenous Rodriguez in Texas in his home state before a big pro-bam audience before 12,000+ fans.
The South African Cafu can be right. The judges are not going to do him with a major unification fight that Jesse Rodriguez planned against IBF champion Fernando Martinez on November 22 in Riyadh. The only way Phumelela wins on Saturday night can be if he beats Bam in front of his fans.
Saturday’s battle will be shown Live on dazn. The other interesting battle on the map is the number 1 rankings with WBO Super Middleweight Diego Pacheco (23-0, 18 COs) that Trevor McCumby (28-1, 21 COs) fought in a 12 round.
