Jess Warner-Judd competes for HOKA and her federation is British Athletics. Jess has been competing for Team GBR as a junior since 2011, moving up from 800m to 1500m, then 10,000m and 5,000m and now the marathon. In her first marathon on 2 November 2025, Jess Warner-Judd became number 9 on the British all-time marathon list, clocking 2:24:45 on her debut, just two seconds behind 2024 Olympic marathon champion Sifan Hasan. Sifan finished sixth in New York and Jess Warner-Judd was seventh overall as a female.
It should be noted that Jess Warner-Judd (like Sifan) is one of the few elite athletes who has been world-class from the 800 meters to the marathon.
