After 10,000 m running in Rio 2016 and London, J. Martin retired 24 years old. But he is now in the return trail and enjoys every moment
2016 Only during his second attempt he enjoyed a Dramatic Progress Run: 31. 58.00 to qualify for the Rio Olympics, where he is in the 16th place. 35.92.
Next year he qualified for the World Land Land Championship in London, but decreased from 10,000 m. Fighting with injury and wanting to start a family with Tour de France cycling Dan Martin, he immediately hung his race shoes at the age of 24.
Eight years later and three children later, the Olympic 10,000-m run started trained with Dan, who now retires from cycling and helps forward his department in Andorra.
“There are so many reasons that I stopped in 2017,” says Jess. “One of the main thing is that I and Dan spend so much time. I loved to run young age, but it started to put pressure. I started to put pressure.
“I am a lot of everyone or no man, so I decided to stop running and moved to the next chapter of my life, which was launching a family and his cycling to Dan.

The couple got married in 2016. “It was perfect. I got to the Olympic Games and we got married. But things have changed in 2017 when the injury hit.
“I began to put pressure on myself and became miserable. So I just stopped, “he said. “There was a lot of life to do so that the Olympic Games did not make anything, but I quickly became pregnant with our twins.
“After the birth (twins daisy and ella), I started running a little bit, but until I was pregnant (third daughter) Heidi, I thought.”
Essery Career collides with YESTEREEAR’s athletes in the 1950s and in the 1960s, for example, who often retire tomorrow or in the mid-20s. Very few of those athletes have returned, but.

Jess and Dan Martin and family
Martins are friends with Jo and Gavin Pavey. “They were two of the firsts, from which I decided to return about a year ago,” says Jess. “I have settled with the joke, and they are a phenomenal and such great support. It’s nice to have someone who has been there and done. “
However, the destiny turn in Jess. “He knows what he is hitting me,” he said.
Since then, his return has gained momentum in February 33. 49 in February. The next month, he targets Andorra’s race in the game against Europe’s Small Countries.

He has lived in Andorra for a decade, but he wants to continue to present Britain, assuming that he receives another international call in the future.
“It is my mission to inspire other people,” he said. “It’s possible to run and be a mother. I felt so complete when I had my third child, but I also felt a little alone. Now I’m running again.
Jess admits that he did not find the return completely simple, however. To get started, even a short easy run was hard. The couple’s parents do not always help children in hand, because they don’t live in Andorra. He says he struggles with “waxing guilt”, although he tries to include his children as much as possible.
“Dan and I have broken everything every week to work out and take care of our children,” he said. “My children are my priority now, but running, but also aims to my mind.
Dan, who competed at the Olympic Games and the rounds of tour in 2013 and 2013, described his wife as “targeted oriented” and I add.

He targets records such as the “fastest marathon by the former side biker” and think he can 2:30 for marathon. Given this, he showed any employee ability as a young man. “I have always won the BLEP test at school and maybe every year he did two intersection race, which I usually won.
However, the main focus is on his wife’s return. As someone who came out before super shoes, fashion entered, Jesse was excited to see how fast he could go in the coming months.
“I didn’t believe that a pair of shoes could make such a difference,” he said. “When I first put them, I felt I was wearing a Pogo Stick.”
“Most importantly, I enjoy very much now. I want to give a good example for my children. And who knows how fast I can run? “
Now JSS works about 80 km per week with a certain intersection. They are not easy miles, as he describes “cruel” in Andorra mountainous terrain.
“The goal is to build consistency and become more and more intensify this year,” he said. “I can offer some road tribes in the fall. I will eventually move to the marathon. I’m not small but I don’t want some time I will move me when I move to me. “
