SYDNEY (AUS). Jess Hull has confirmed she will attempt the 800m, 1500m and 5000m triathlon at the Australian Championships from April 9-12, despite there being only a 30-minute gap between the 800m and 5000m finals, according to Australian Athletics.

“I’m very excited. Sydney is the best place to host nationals in my biased opinion, I’m from NSW and have a lot of family over the weekend. It started as a joke with Dad, Daniel and I back in November. It turned into motivation because I want to win and I believe I can. That’s why I’m trying it. The weekend is just fun at that point and we saw in Tokyo that when I was having fun, I ran really well,” he said.
