Eddie Hearn says he believes he has the fighter who can beat Terence Crawford in Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. He is sure that Ennis Crawford will defeat because he has the style to beat him.

This is a battle that the matchrome promotor Hearn says “One of the greatest battles of all time.” He does not expect Crawford (42-0, 31 COs) to fight until the end of 2026, if at all. By then, he believes that Ennis (35-0, 31 CO’s) Vergil Ortiz jr. And possibly also Sebastian Fundora will beat.
‘The man to beat the king’
‘Boots’ Ennis’ popularity will skyrocket after the two wins, creating the interest in a battle between him and Crawford if the Nebraska native does not retire before, because he paid him for life with the millions of Turki Alalshikh.
There will certainly be a lot of pressure on Crawford to face Ennis if he has not retired, because there is no one on 168 or 160 who can match him with the popularity except Canelo Alvarez. A re -broadcast is unlikely to happen between him and Bud because the Mexican star does not want to embarrass a second time.

The style that Crawford uses is for fighters who move regularly and try to win using the scoring system. Ennis has a pro -style in which he puts his bumps together in search of a knockout.
Hearn’s vision for 2026
“Crawford will only fight at the end of next year, even if he is fighting again. It can be one of the biggest fights of all time. And I believe we have the man who beats the man. And if he wants a real challenge, get them ready, because ‘boots’ come,” says Hearn.
