IBF and WBO mid -weight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly tried to get a unification fight against WBC champion Carlos Adames, but had no luck to get the fight yet.
Alimkhanuly’s exclamations ignored
Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 COs) repeatedly exclaimed, but made no progress in his efforts. At this point, it is a waste of Janibek’s time and under his dignity to continue to call out Adames, because there is clearly no interest. It makes him look desperate and without any other options to keep chasing this battle.
Midleweeight’s “who needs him”
The middleweight’s “who needs him” Olympic bronze medalist, Alimkhanuly, is in the ‘Who Need Him’ club, given his lack of popularity and the danger he poses to all the fighters at 160. The opposition that Janibek, 32, has beaten over the past five years, was an obscure fighters who did not well known them.

Janibek: Move to 168
What January has to do is evacuate his belts and move to 168 to follow the larger names in this weight class. He would give up many of the fighters a lot of size, but he has the power and technical skills to compete in this section.
Getting battles would not be as difficult as for alimkhanuly now. If he chooses to stay with the middleweight, he will probably waste his best years, without fighting for smaller wallets, and he will miss all the major battles available at 168. He has the talent to beat super-middle weights such as Edgar Berlanga, Hamzah Sheeraz, Caleb Plant, Lester Martinez and Jaime Munguia.
Janibek is likely to still be ignored and avoided by the top names in this barren section, which now does not have a names after the departure of Canelo, Golovkin and Jermall Charlo.
