Sky Sports Pundit Jamie Carragher has hit West Ham United Mohammed Kudus for his performances this season.
West Ham crashed against a defeat against Nottingham Forest, and the 24 -year -old put another disappointing exhibition for his side.
Carragher Slams Mohammed Kudus
Carragher thinks he is a quality player who deserves to play at a high level, but his performances have been bewildering this season and is one of the reasons why West Ham has fought as a team.
He said Sky Sports: “There is no doubt that it is (Kudus) a quality player who should play for a team, I would say, which is closer to the top of the table near the bottom.
“But probably one of the reasons why West Ham is where they are this season is because he has not shown the way he showed last season.
“Last season he seemed fantastic (but) did not look like the same player this season.
“So I would not be surprised that there was a change in some way because West Ham needed the money, but other clubs could think that this is just a low season for him and last season it was the real Kudus.
“And if they can get that player, maybe it’s a good sign. So it can be the kind of situation in which it may work (all parties).”
Can West Ham keep him in the club?
Without a doubt, Kudus is a highest quality player who could have helped the hammers to improve. However, it has not been at their best, and the London have suffered as a result of this. They already lack quality and depth in the attack unit. Summer signature Niclas Fullkrug has been proven ineffective and has also fought with injuries. West Ham had to depend on Kudus and Jarrod Bowen in the attack, and the disappointing form of the Ghanesesa international has cost his side.
