Jamie Carragher has broken his silence at the exit of Trent Alexander-Arnold, admitting that he is not angry, but disappointed by the reasoning of the defender for leaving Liverpool.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, has been at the center of transfer speculation throughout the season, with his contract, along with those of Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, who expire at the end of the campaign.
In spite of the ongoing negotiations, Liverpool has not yet reached an agreement with any of the three, leaving them free to discuss the terms with foreign clubs since January.

Real Madrid has been strongly related to the right throughout the saga and, as it involves, had a range of £ 20 million in January.
Carragher has now said about the situation. Although he does not maintain a resentment against Alexander-Arnold to consider a move, he admitted that he was disappointed with the reasons behind him.

“Where I am, as a local player and Liverpool fan, Liverpool is in a position where they compete in the league and a European Cup every year,” he told the It attaches to football Podcast.
“ So, if you are a fan of Liverpool and a local player, I’m just disappointed that he doesn’t think this is. I am putting -in his position where I would be thinking that we could go at the level with Manchester United in league trophies, I am seven or eight more years in Liverpool and I want to get three or four ahead, with a couple of more European drinks.
“It seems that there is no thing that people are not satisfied; it is to leave it free or they should have left and said to the club before – the people are angry at three or four different things,” said Carragher.
