Jai Opetaia says he would “like to share the ring” with Dmitri Biscvol if he goes to Cruiserweight for the two to fight. The IBF champion Opetaia (27-0, 20 costs) claims to be “pursuing major fights”, and he feels that a collision against the current undisputed light heavyweight champion BiVol (24-1, 12 COs).
BIVOL’s controversy
Dmitri Bivol (34) comes from a questionable victory of the majority of the majority of 12 round over the undisputed 175-pound champion Artur Betterbiev last month on February 22 in Riyadh. Two of the judges for that battle were Very generous With their standings for BiVol, giving him a victory in a collision that must have been a 12-round or a win for betterbiev.
The 40-year-old Betterbiev deserved to win six rounds and beat the living daylights out of Biblical in the twelfth round. The victory was seen by some of Biblical who won the victory for political reasons.
Either way, he looked bad to run the ring, beating out better, and looked like he was about to hit the older fighter in the 12th round. Biblical face seemed to have been transferred by a tractor wagon at the end of the competition. The heavy shots of betterbiev did a number on his face.
Dream fight?
‘Of course, respectful. I actually have a lot of respect for Biblical. I would like to fight against him. I would love to share the ring with him. I think he’s a wonderful, and I would love to share the ring with a big fighter, ‘says Jai Opetaia to Ring Magazine Youtube Channel when asked if he would be interested in fighting the current undisputed light heavyweight champion Dmitri Bisvol.
“We don’t chase easy fights. We chase big fights, and I feel it’s a wonderful struggle. My visions are locked on the belts. I chase unification fights. Anyone who comes in it, I have to take them out, but I’m locked up in the other belts. I see them at the end of the tunnel and I’m on my way. That’s what I want. Let it come. ‘
Jai always talks about fighting big fighters, but he never does. It is strict ham and eggers. You only judge a fighter according to whom they actually fight, and you must have the crackle they do about how about how “One of the days,” They will fight great opposition.
Opetaia, 29, has not yet shown that he wants to chase greatness. His resume is filled with non-big fighters, and some box fans believe his focus is on his record against middle road guys. The IBF Cruiserweight champion Opetaia defends against #14 Claudio squo On May 13 at the Gold Coast Convention Center, Broadbeach, Australia.
