Jack Draper hasn’t played since the US Open. The British star was planning to test his injured left arm this weekend at UTS, but he has announced he is not quite ready to join the eight-man squad in London this year.

“Hi guys. I’ve been working really hard to get back for UTS in London but disappointingly I’m not ready. It’s a tough call as at this point I want nothing more than to get out there and compete but I’ve been advised to take more time off. I’m sorry to let the fans down and miss this event,” said Draper.
Draper will be replaced in Group B by last year’s London semi-finalist Ugo Humbert.
More on this weekend’s event, according to UTS
All eight players competing at the Copper Box Arena, including Humbert, are ranked in the World Top 20. The Frenchman has a career high ranking of 13 and owns seven career ATP titles.
Humbert will face stiff competition from De Minaur, Andrey Rublev, Tomas Machac, Casper Ruud, Francisco Cerundolo, David Goffin and Adrian Mannarino. Between them they have won 53 ATP Tour titles and 8 UTS Tour titles.
Play kicks off at 5pm on Friday with the unique UTS All Star Game before all eight players take to the field for an evening filled with world-class sport and entertainment.
Draper had a breakthrough in 2025, making his Top 5 debut and winning his first Masters title at Indian Wells, but injuries caught up with him and cut his season short. He withdrew from his second match at the US Open and did not play again.

His injury — bone stress and bruising to his humerus — first started in the spring but didn’t improve with the summer off.
