Floyd Schofield proclaimed Shakur Stevenson last night after his first knockout victory over former IBF Super Featherweight Champion Tevin Farmer in the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Shakur’s “jealous” response to Schofield Win
Schofield (19-0, 13 food) does not like Shakur’s reaction he placed on X to his victory over Famer (33-9-1, 8 COs) in which he was dismissive of the victory, saying, “Don’t get too much (of) too irresponsible.”
He encountered jealously of Floyd’s victory and the amount of attention he received from fans. Stevenson’s fighting does not end with knockouts. They go the distance, and the fans often boo him because of his non-pleasant running style.
“Man, come, TEV, you need to know he’s gone. Come out quickly, ‘said Shakur Stevenson in a narrowly deleted post on X and responded to Floyd Schofield’s first knockout of Tevin Farmer. “Any fighter who is dangerous in the first round, especially these lil children … Don’t be (much) of too irresponsible too!”
As you can see here, Stevenson was not too happy about the results of Schofield’s destruction of Old G, Tevin Farmer. Newark, New Jersey native Shakur, had to provide the amount of pressure placed on him on the outcome of this battle. He does not want any part of the young knockout artist Schofield. The one-time power and the lightning-fast hand speed shown by 22-year-old Schofield would be risky for Kur.
Schofield costs Farmer, call out Shakur

Golden Boy -Promotor de la Hoya will not have much luck to have a fight between Schofield and Shakur Stevenson without Matchroom and Turki Alalshikh, which is interested to make it happen. They won’t. The man they want is Gervonta Davis, and it doesn’t matter that he can lose with Lamont Roach on August 16.
Tank Davis’s popularity would still be high enough for Shakur’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, to go for him in that direction, rather than posting him with a knockout artist like Schofield.

There is no chance that Schofield will be allowed to enter the ring to call out Shakur if he were to conquer against William Zepeda on July 12 at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Stevenson’s promoters in Matchroom would not give the green light for Floyd to enter the ring, as their boss, Eddie Hearn, hopes to set up a mega money fight with Gervonta Davis next. It’s all about business.

“I don’t care about his opinion. I achieved my victory. Hopefully he (Stevenson) won his victory in July, and we will see what happens. Don’t practice my actions because I guarantee you, his struggle is not going to end like mine. It’s Shakur. He had his feelings, ‘says Schofield.
Even if Shakur cannot get the fight he wants to Zepeda against Tank Davis, he will not turn his attention to the fight against a deadly puncher such as Schofield or any of the talented contenders in the lightweight division. A predictable battle for Shakur would be against Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz, Devin Haney or Ryan Garcia.
The untouchable list: Fighters Shakur Avoid
Hearn and Stevenson will be focused on money against safe opponents, with little chance of beating him with the amateur, with a point-and-non-hit style he uses in his fights. Schofield would be one of this untouchable list of fighters that Shakur will not fight:
