Two months in season 2025, Rory Mcilroy has made majority changes on top of his golf bag this week, finally adding New Qi35 Driver of Taylormade and Woodway Fairway THEir Bay Hill.
Meanwhile, his stability Taylormade and World no. 1, Scottie Scheffler, is staying with his Qi10 from last season, at least for now.
In this week’s episode of fully equipped Golf, co-president Kris McCormack, who was in Orlando for Arnold Palmer Invitational, Without Scheffler working in the string Tuesday with reps from Taylormade and Fujukura trying to call in a new combination of the head and axis.
“Starting the season, he was out with a hand injury and there was not much time to try really and put it through his steps, and trying to work on a new driver during the races is difficult,” McCormack said.

McCormack said Scheffler was hitting several different Heads qi35 including Qi35 LS and Qi35 (dot) that Rory Mcilroy just put it in the gameWith at least seven different shaft changes of different lengths, weights and slopes.
Scheffler ultimately decided to keep Qi10 reliable from last year in the bag for at least one more tour, but this is not a referendum for the new driver, just the fact that Scheffler has not had much time to try due to his damage.

Conditions this week in Bay Hill also play a factor. Strong winds have wreaked havoc during the round of openingAnd the forecast suggests that it will swell again on Sunday.
“Approximate in Bay Hill is thick, and it’s tall, and I mean, I know there will be a premium for accuracy,” McCormack said. “The golf course usually gives itself to be a little more friendly for those who have a distance. But I want to say, how thick and tall this is harsh, it really looks like it will be a bit out of a coming bear. “
McCormack posed, if the wind was not blowing this week, it was possible that Scheffler would play the new driver, so maybe it’s not too far from going into the bag.
