Arjun Tendulkar’s limited chances at MI lead to a trade decision
Arjun, the legendary son Sachin TendulkarMade his IPL debut in 2023 but struggled to secure consistent playing time with Mumbai Indians in the following seasons.
Along with Mi, Arjun played five matches and took three wickets, showing glimpses of promise with the ball. However, the tough competition within Mumbai’s PACE attack has spent most of the last two seasons on the bench.
With opportunities drying up, Mi sold ARJUN to LSG for INR 30 Lakh. The transfer was confirmed before the IPL 2026 catch-up period.
Arjun is set to start fresh at LSG
Arjun’s move to LSG is widely seen as a very important career reset. Known for its highly established bowling plans and strong development system, Lucknow can cater to ARJUN’s needs to develop a reliable pace-bowling all-rounder.
