The anticipation surrounding the IPL 2025 mega auction has taken a big step forward with all 10 franchises – Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Bengalle Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad has officially announced the list of retained players.
Each franchise has a purse of ₹120 crore for the upcoming auction and deductions based on the values of their retained players will adjust each team’s remaining budget. Retentions are strategic, with teams balancing their star players while leaving enough in the purse for fresh signings.
