Pacquiao says Mayweather’s “Bang to Death” wants Jake Paul to be arranged, and Hatton on a diet
Manny Pacquiao is back. In an interview with Covers.comPacquiao talks about Floyd, Jake Paul, who quoted Churchill and dragged Ricky Hatton’s stomach into the conversation, for no reason. The man’s 46, still practicing like a fool, and sounds like he’s halfway between a comeback and a waist cage.
He is fighting against Mario Barrios on July 19, but does not worry, he also has enough time to take everyone in the sport as well.
“Mayweather is afraid to fight again to fight me again”
Pacquiao has reconsidered the body of the Mayweather racing directly at the gate.
“I don’t think Floyd Mayweather will fight me again, he’s afraid to fight again, that’s what I think.”
Absolutely shameless. The man lost to Floyd a decade ago in the most overhopped Snooze festival in the history of the box, and he still begs a repeat like a fan outside the MGM Grand.
“It’s a big battle between me and Mayweather), but there are many reasons or alibis why he didn’t make it (the re -broadcast of me).”
“I think a lot of excuses.”
Excuses, or maybe Floyd just doesn’t want to pretend to be 2015 while chasing a 46-year-old to chase the ring in Saudi Arabia. Cannot blame him.
Pacquiao: Jake Paul deserves a world rankings – you read it, WBC?
Pacquiao, a hall of the famer, actually said this:
“I respect Jake Paul’s passion for following his boxing career, he has a talent.
“He can fight, so why not (give him a world rankings)?”
Why not? Maybe because it is an insult to every fighter scraping through small halls and dusty gyms to earn a real ranking. But sure, give it to the influencer with three actual boxers on his plate and a camera bell for each Spar.
He also draws Churchill in this – seriously?
Apparently, he is decorated by Marquez and struggled by the Olympics, because Pacquiao has now quoted British War Time speeches to justify his comeback.
‘The critics are always there …
But I’ve always been inspired by the saying of Winston Churchill: “You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog barking.”
Mate, you don’t storm Normandy. Your box after a decade from an additional contender. Relax.
On Ricky Hatton: ‘He has gained a lot’ – rejoiced for it, Manny
Why Hatton got lost here, nobody knows. But Pacquiao had the full bar level:
“It’s good for Ricky Hatton (that he makes a comeback), because when I saw him, he gained a lot of weight.
“He has gained a lot.”
We get it. Ricky likes a pint. You don’t have to say it twice. A little rich from a block that pushes 50 still rushes relevant, but hey – strike if you can’t hit.
33 rounds on a single day? Who is trying to convince him?
’33 rounds of sparring, mitts and the heavy bag … I can still do the same as when I was young. “
Cool story. But most fighters do not boast about 33 rounds unless they try to prove that they still belong. Transfer is not a personality. If you do 33 rounds and still have to convince yourself, it might not be about fitness – it’s about ego.
“I can still be a champion at 46 ‘ – or can’t you just leave?
“I still have the fire in my eyes and in my heart … I punish myself to the limit.”
“Even at the age of 46, I can still be a champion and that I can still fight.”
No one doubts your work ethic, but let’s be honest – it’s not about legacy anymore. It’s about pride, noise and keeping the cameras going. You don’t chase greatness. You avoid retirement.
So what is it really about? Floyd? Jake Paul? A Churchill Quote? Or is Manny Pacquiao just another legend that can’t endure silence?
One thing is certain: the gloves are back on, but the filter is completely off. And the more he speaks, the more you wonder –Who is he trying to convince exactly?
