The Yankees are currently a heavy betting favorite at even odds, while the Mets are a distant second at 5-1, as many fans expected the two cross-town rivals to go into a heated battle for Soto’s long-term services.
The Dodgers seem to have an endless supply of cash, and even after giving Shohei Otani $700 million and Yoshinobu Yamamoto $325 million this past offseason, it would shock absolutely no one to see them throw in another huge bag on Soto to lure him west.
