Insider strongly believes when Juan Soto will make his free agency decision

The Major League Baseball offseason is heating up as some big name players have signed with new teams.

Pitcher Blake Snell was able to come to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers, who signed him to a $182 million contract over five years.

However, everyone is still waiting for the main event, as the winner of the Juan Soto sweepstakes awaits, and New York Yankees fans anxiously hope that the star player will rejoin the team.

MLB insider John Morosi revealed when he thinks Soto will make his decision.

“I believe … that we will know where Juan Soto is going in the next 10 days,” Morosi said via MLB Network.

While fans of all the teams chasing Soto are reportedly awaiting his decision, Morosi said he believes it will happen during the winter meetings.

Soto has reportedly held talks with the Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Dodgers.

Morosi also notes that Soto’s money could exceed the $600 million mark if teams offer a deal similar to Justin Verlander’s annual amount and Aaron Judge’s contract life.

Soto had an incredible first season with the Yankees as he batted .288 with 41 home runs, 109 RBI and a .989 OPS.

The superstar hasn’t given any clues as to where he plans to sign, but Morosi notes that Soto appears to be narrowing down his list.
